So this is the first time Megan came home in 3 years! So we took the opportunity to get these family photos. The last time we had family pictures taken Ayden was not even one year old yet!
So as you can imagine the family was a LOT smaller back then.

We had a GREAT Halloween this year! The kids finally understood what it is all about and had a blast trick-or-treating! We can't wait for Christmas this year! We have already put up the tree and kids think its Christmas every time it snows. They are growing SO fast and I love the holidays now that my kids are old enough to get the meaning of them and get excited about the things that are supposed to happen. They make the holidays much more enjoyable for me. Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone is safe and doing well, especially at this time of year.

So I'm finally updating it! YAY!! We are doing really good, Tyler is now working for a cedar fence company here in Provo and loving it! I'm back to being a stay at home mom, but contemplating some type of part time job? Ayden is home for the summer and Jennika is not too happy about that. She asked me today why Ayden wasn't going to school so it could be just me and her at home again. It was sweet but kind of sad at the same time. Here are some random pictures from the last couple weeks I thought you all might enjoy.

Sorry it has been so long! Here are some recent pictures.

This is Ayden's school picture. I can't believe he is 6 already! It's insane how fast they grow up. He is doing well in school. He's in a "special kindergarten" for help with his "delays". He loves school and even has a girlfriend. :) (her name is Shannon)

This is Jennika's newest picture taken by Ayden's school. Jennika is 3 now and she is doing well. She can't wait to start school too but we found out she can't start school this coming fall because she misses the deadline. She was very upset when we told her the news. She just gets smarter every day!

This is our cat Sparkle. He loves the kids but he is totally my cat. He waits for me to go to bed and then he comes in and snuggles with me every night! He is a total inside cat and HATES being outside. He weighs 12 pounds and he has the softest fur you will ever feel on a cat! I love my kitty SO much!

This is our other cat Fatty. He weighs 19 pounds and he is Tyler's cat. He unlike Sparkle loves to go play outside. He is also a snuggler and loves to lay down and take naps with Tyler.

These are our Guinea Pigs, Kipper is on the left and Arnold is on the right. They are so much fun and the kids are so great with them. They love to get out and play with us. I made a little maze out of cardboard boxes for them and they love it. In this video you can see Kipper coming out of the maze and jumping all over the place. This is a sign of extreme joy and happiness.

I'm finally graduating! It is going to be on June 24th at 6:00 p.m. at the Provo Tabernacle on 100 South and University Avenue. Any of you that want to come, please feel free. Here are some cute pictures of me in my cap and gown.

So we finally have internet at home again because one of the neighbors has wireless! Yay! So to catch you all up because it has been forever since I have done this. I am still in school. I will graduate in June, and can't wait! I am now a certified phlebotomist and hoping to get a job in that field soon. Tyler is still at IFA but hoping to get a new job in the near future. Wish us luck on that part huh? Ayden is in pre-school still and he loves it so much. He has an amazing teacher this year and he just adores her. No girlfriends for him yet, he's way to shy for that kind of stuff. Thank goodness! But I do have a funny story for you about something he did the other day. I had to go next door to my neighbors for about ten minutes the other morning and decided it would be easier to just leave the kids home alone. Well when I came home Ayden was in the kitchen putting something back in the drawer. I came to find out about two seconds later that it was the scissors! He has cut clear down to the skin on the whole top right side of Jennika's head! He also cut some of the dogs hair along her back. Didn't touch his own hair but cut everyone else's. If you look close you can tell Jennika's hair is weird in some of these cute pictures we got just today.

Sorry it has been so long since my last update! Here is what has been going on lately. Ayden just recently graduated from his second year of pre-school, he loved every minute of it and asks me every day if he can ride the bus and go to school. He is talking so much better now then he was even a month ago(not that he actually talks in front of anybody but me). :) He still loves riding bikes and watching the trains and going to gramma's house and the fun dirty things that boys his age like to do. Jennika is doing great. She is getting so big and is getting more and more independent as the days go by. She is such a tom boy! It drives me nuts some days. She will pick a truck to play with over a baby doll. I was really hoping for my baby to be a girly girl, but look at her mom. So I am just going to be happy with the way she is. :) School is going good for me. I finally got a smaller schedule for this month so it is gonna be a little easier for the next four weeks. I am still on the Dean's list, for now anyways. We will see how long that lasts. Tyler is doing good still working at IFA, he hopes to start school as soon as I am done but we will have to see how well that is going to work out for us. Here is some sad news, we had to get rid of our little dog Copper. He kept jumping up and biting the kids on the faces and hands and he just wasn't house training very well so we decided it would be best if we just got rid of him and try getting another dog later on in life when we are more settled and the kids are a little older. Goodbye Copper. :( Well here are some recent pics of us on our latest adventures.

I have told you before that this kid can sleep anywhere and in any position, this is the proof.

Jennika is one month and one day younger then Kylie. She looks a lot bigger in this picture because she is sitting up on her knees and Kylie isn't. They are actually really close in size.

We haven't been up to much lately. We have just been hanging out and having fun in the sun. Ayden is doing good in school. He loves to ride the bus and gets mad when he doesn't get to go. School is going very well for me too. I am 1/3 of the way done, and still loving every minute of it. I am still on the dean list and scheduled to graduate in June of 2010. Well here are some cute pictures that we have taken lately.

Thanksgiving Point and the Fire Station

We went to Thanksgiving Point yesterday and saw all the animals, and then we went and took a tour of the American Fork Fire Station. You can go in and schedule a good time and take a tour for absolutely free. The kids got to go in and talk to a fire man and then go and see all the different fire trucks and ambulances and everything. They had so much fun! We are totally gonna start doing this every year! It was a blast!

Sorry it has been so long since I last updated! Here are some recent pics that I thought you might enjoy.

This is Jennika looking through a fence at some dogs that we walk by on our way to and from Ayden's bus stop. She does this every day!

This is our new puppy, Copper. He is very fun and the kids love him. I am having a harder time with him because I am the one potty training, but it is going well.

Here is the picture I mentioned a while ago where Jennika is asleep under the kitchen table.

These two were playing so well together the other day that I just had to take a picture. They are sitting in a drawer to a little plastic dresser that we have and eating fruit roll ups. It was so cute.

This one is of Jennika's first time wearing a cowgirl hat. She is gonna be a dang cute cowgirl!!
As for me and Tyler we are still doing great. We are coming up on 5 years of marriage! Can you believe that? We just bought us a new car, it is a 2007 Chrysler Sebring, and it is so nice and cute and I am loving having a CAR!! School is going great for both me and Ayden. He wakes up every morning and tells me that he wants to go to school on the bus today. It is very sweet. My classes are going very well. I am trying my hardest to keep my 4.0 but with this last class I took (Anatomy and Physiology) I am not so sure that I will still have a perfect 4.0 but I will keep you all posted on that and let you know when I find out. Love!!

Okay I have had a few people tell me to update my blog already, so here goes. We actually haven't been up to a whole lot lately. Other then being sick, I made the deans list at school for the last trimester. I still have a 4.0 GPA, and I am hoping to keep it this way for the rest of the time I am in school and graduate with high honors. So wish me luck! I am currently taking Anatomy and Physiology, it is a pretty tough class. I am kind of worried about what my final grade will be with this one?
Tyler is still working at IFA and loving it. He is trying to find a second job so if any of you know of a good part time job please let us know.
Ayden is in pre-school again. He loves going this time. He cries a little when we drop him off, but the teacher tells us he only cries for a few minutes and then he starts to have the time of his life. He is so excited to tell us all about what he did and the friends he has made. He is starting to talk very well. I can actually understand a good majority of what he says.
Jennika is getting very big and very smart. She is climbing all over the place and she can even say a few words now. She calls everybody "daddy", I am slowly trying to get her to call me mommy, and she sometimes calls me "mama". She is just getting too smart for her own good. She is quite a little bully to Ayden as well. She will do stuff to him just to make him mad. It is so funny sometimes, but for the most part it is just driving me nuts!

Tyler's mom kept the kids, and me and Tyler and our friend Jordan all went up to Park City for my birthday. It was SOOOO much fun!! We went shopping, and to the Olympic Park, and walked up and down Main Street, and just hung out. It was the best birthday I have had in a long time. Thank you so much hubby for taking me!

Today is Ayden's fourth birthday! I can't believe that my little boy is four years old! He has been such a joy and blessing to us. I couldn't ask for a better son. He is such a big helper. He loves to help me cook and clean, and he is a super big help with Jennika. She is so lucky to have such an amazing big brother. The first picture is of Ayden at Wal Mart. We had to go and buy new pillows for me and Tyler so we put them in the cart with him and this is what he did. Funny huh? He is getting too big too fast! I love my little man. I have been playing as much as possible since we got it on Thursday, and now my arms, back, stomach, and side muscles are killing me. It is such an awesome work out! I LOVE IT!!!!! Tyler's cousin Wendi and her son Kristofer came and spent a couple of days with us. It was the first time either of them have had a sleepover with someone their own age and not at Gramma's house.

Our snowman

So I have been meaning to post these pics for a while now but never got around to it. We built our first snowman as a family a couple weeks ago.

This is the snowman, obviously.

Jennika was not having too much fun, she was sitting in the snow crying and crying. Then we realized that she was being really quiet all of a sudden and we looked over at her and she was falling asleep sitting there in the cold snow. We had quite a good laugh about it.

Sorry it has been so long since my last post, but my computer has been giving me a lot of crap lately and Tyler's parents moved too far away to go out all the time and use their Internet. So this one is gonna be pretty long.
Christmas was great. We had a lot of family parties, and really enjoyed every one of them. Ayden got a Fisher Price digital camera from Deb and Stan for Christmas and he is really good at taking pictures with it. He also got a couple of fire trucks and some play dough. Jennika got a couple of new babies, a very cute new outfit, and a Fisher Price laugh and learn table. Tyler and I got a new comforter and curtains for our bedroom, a docking station for our ipod, and a little money. All in all we had a very good Christmas.
Today we took the kids tubing, Ayden was having more fun throwing snowballs at Tyler's two best friends Jake and Jordan. I got a few pictures of that. All the pictures that are on this post are off of Ayden's Fisher Price camera. Pretty cool huh?

Jake got his four wheeler stuck in the snow and we are sitting there waiting for him to pull it out. Jennika was with us but she didn't like the tubes because she didn't like the snow flipping up into her face, and she didn't like the four wheeler because she was too cold so she sat in one of our arms most of the time and played in the truck for a little bit. She had a lot of fun though. We put the kids in the truck as often as we could so that they wouldn't get too cold. They love to just play in daddy's truck.

Ayden finally got a haircut! I don't know if you noticed in those recent pictures I just posted but Ayden's hair was getting so long, we finally got it cut last night. Tyler's mom did it for me so it was free which made it that much better! :) Thanks Deb! It looks so cute and he looks so grown up now. Sorry the pictures aren't the best but he wouldn't look at me.

Here are some recent pictures I thought were cute and figured I would share them with all of you.

Ayden won't really let us take his picture so I was really excited when he didn't hide from the camera for this one. The look on his face is really weird but at least it is a picture of it huh?

Jennika was being so funny at the grocery store. She kept taking stuff off of the shelves and carrying it around. She thought she was being pretty cute.

Jennika looked so comfortable when I took this picture. She fell asleep in her car seat with all her winter gear on and a blanket on her lap. Needless to say, she was sweating to death when we got her out!

She is such a daddies girl! We went to see him at work and she went running up to him and gave him a great big hug and wouldn't let go of him.

This picture kills me. We just bought some "big boy" underwear for Ayden and when he got them out of the package Jennika thought they were so cool that she put a pair of them on her head. It was hilarious!

Bunk Bed!

My mom and dad got the kids a bunk bed for Christmas, I know it is kind of early for a Christmas present but we needed to do something different with their room. The bed is a twin on top and full on bottom. Ayden got the top and Jennika got the bottom, for safety reasons, obviously. The top picture is obviously the bed itself, the second one is Jennika's bedding. She got the Disney Princess blanket and sheets . The last picture is of Ayden's new Thomas the Tank Engine bedding. He absolutely LOVES his new bed! They both do, Jennika got her bed for the first time and started to kiss the princesses and she didn't want to get off. Ayden just would not get off his bed at all. He has spent most of the day just down playing on his bed. Jennika got quite upset when we were carrying her crib outside. It made me feel so bad, she was just screaming. But she got over it when we showed her her new princess blanket. Plus now their bedroom has enough space in it to put some of their hundreds of toys down there. It makes my living room look so much bigger, but now I have the Christmas tree in here and it is taking up quite a bit of my corner. I will post some pictures of that when we get lights to put on it. I went to put my lights on it today and realized I only had one 12 foot strand for a 7 1/2 foot tall tree. Plus when I plugged them in they didn't work. So right now there is just a really big naked tree in my living room! :) Love to all and Happy Holidays!

Graylee Kay Hardy

This is my new niece, Graylee Kay! She is so stinking cute. She was born on November 3rd, she was 6 lbs. 9 ounces and 18 inches long. Jennika and Ayden absolutely loved her! Ayden kept on kissing her on the top of the head and telling mommy to take her home. Jennika just wanted to take her and hold her and love on her, she did much better around the baby then I thought she would. She just sat there and stared at her, I think she was trying to figure why the baby doll was making noise. It was so cute to watch my kids and how they acted around Graylee, they could sense that she was very precious and not to be too rough with her. I think it kind of made Stephanie(my sister in law) a little nervous but she didn't say anything. She is a good sport. She said that her little boy, Sylus, would come to her tummy and tell her that he was going to hold the baby and then he would cup his hands and walk around the house cooing at his empty hands. She thinks he was starting to believe that mommy was really never going to have his baby sister. He is such a cute little stink!(he is about two and half) I love you Steph!! So this one right here on the left is a close up of the border we put up. It looks so much better! I know the blue is a little different but it made our bathroom look 100 times better then it did before! I love it!

We finally got Ayden a big boy bike with training wheels. He absolutely loves it! He thinks he is the best rider in the world and doesn't have to watch where he is going. He tends to run into things all the time. It is pretty funny! When he falls over he will stand up and brush himself off and tell me that he is okay. He is so funny.

I am officially enrolled in college!!!! I am obviously going to Stevens-Henager College. I will be doing their medical specialties program. It will only take me 20 months to get my associates degree. I will become certified in all laboratory procedures, x-ray technology, pharmacy tech, and I will learn how to perform and read EKG's. I am WAY excited to get started on all of this! I start on Monday the 27th and I will be doing evening classes. The way they do their schedule, I will be doing one class this month on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6-10. Then next month I will be doing two classes and going to school four nights a week from 6-10 each night. It is gonna be hard work especially with the kids but we are so excited for one of us to finally be in school and Tyler's work will be very understanding and flexible with us. So it will all work out. Wish me luck!

Carving Pumpkins

It was so much fun and Ayden was having the time of his life.

He wouldn't really put his hand in the pumpkins though.

He did once and when he pulled his hand out he said "EWW" and then he was done.

Thanks to all who came to Jennika's party! It was a blast. She loved playing in the cake. Over all it was a VERY good party. Thanks Deb and Stan for all your help. We love you! She got lots of new, very cute clothes, new bracelets, a couple of baby dolls, and stuff to go along with the baby dolls such as two strollers, a car seat, a bassinet, a diaper bag, and all of the accessories that go in the diaper bag. Bath time

So the other night I was cleaning out the bath tub so I could give the kids a bath,(I had bathed the dog in the tub earlier that day), and all of a sudden it was NOT draining!! So I grabbed my tweezers and tried to pull whatever was blocking the drain. I got a little bit of hair but nothing too major, and the tub still wouldn't drain. So I asked Tyler to come down and see if he could fix it. He tried for a few minutes and the tub still wouldn't drain! So that is when I decided to just bathe the kids in the kitchen sink. I usually bathe Jennika in the sink anyways because for some odd reason she HATES the bath tub?! But it was very difficult to bathe a three year old in the sink, seeing as how he barely fit. But I got it all done and neither one of the kids wanted to get out of the sink. Plus, now Ayden thinks that he gets to take his bath in the sink all the time. How do you explain that to a three year old? Thank goodness for kitchen sinks huh? By the way, Tyler did eventually get the tub drain and now it works great.

Jennika's Turning ONE!!

We are going to be doing a birthday party for Jennika on Saturday, September 27th at 4:00 p.m. It will be held at a park in Lehi located at 600 North Center Street. We will be serving sloppy joe's and cake and ice cream. If those of you that will be attending could please bring some type of side dish to share that would be greatly appreciated! Ayden's Tonsilectomy

Ayden had to have his tonsils taken out on September second and he did really well. They said his tonsils were EXTREMELY large for a three year old. He also had his adenoids removed and they told us that they too were EXTREMELY large and blocking most of his airway and his inner ears. We had his adenoids removed a couple years ago and they can apparently grow back and they did, about three times larger then they were supposed to be! So we have to go back in a couple of years and we might need to have them removed again! Poor kid huh? He was a real trooper though. They said that about four five and six days after the surgery would be the hardest but he did so well. I am very proud of him!

I just wanted to let you know what the kids have been up to lately. Ayden is doing great. We still have not heard about when he will start pre-school again, but I will let you all know when we do. Ayden loves to play on the computer as you can see and he is actually pretty good at it. He is still obsessed with Thomas the Train, but his new favorite movies are actually "The Aristocats" and "Peter Pan". Jennika is getting so big! She is going to be 1 in less then two weeks. Can you believe it? She thinks she is SO big. She is walking all over the place and she is starting to try and run now. It is so stinking cute. She refuses to eat baby food because she thinks she is a "big girl", she is also not on formula anymore and i don't think she is too fond of regular milk yet. Well that is all for now.

Jennika's first steps!!!!

As you can see by the video, Jennika is walking. She took her first steps when she was only ten months and nine days old! Ayden was just learning to crawl at this age! It is amazing to me how much faster my baby girl is developing then her brother did. I know you are not supposed to compare your kids, but sometimes you just can't help it. She can already stand up all by herself without holding onto anything too! It is amazing how smart she is! Ayden loves it when his baby sister walks to him. He absolutely adores her! He even holds her hand and helps her walk so she won't fall over and bonk her head, and when she does fall and bonk her head he is right there telling her sorry and kissing it better. It is so cute!

I thought I would let you all know what Ayden has been up to lately. He is not quite as camera shy as he used to be. He loves to play with Jennika. He is such a good big brother. He absolutely loves to play in the tub. He would spend hours in the tub if I let him. As you can see by the bottom left picture he will play so hard that he just falls asleep while he is playing. You can't really see them but he has toys in his hands that he didn't even let go of when we woke him up and put him in bed. He also loves to mow the lawn with daddy. He loves anything to do anything outside. We finally got him a bunch of outside toys and we have our own little fenced in yard that he can go play in. He loves that we have our own little yard. Ayden is also starting pre-school again on September 2nd. Hopefully I will be able to post a blog about that shortly after it happens.

Tyler and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary yesterday! Can you believe we have been married for four years?! It is so crazy. It seems like it was just yesterday. Jennika was taking a nap and Ayden went in and laid down on his bed like he was going to take a nap too. So I closed the door and next thing I knew they were both just squealing. So I went in to see what was going on and this is what I found. Ayden loves to get in the crib and act like a baby. He copies everything little thing that Jennika does. He won't let go of the side of the crib and any little noise Jennika made he made too. It is kind of cute, sometimes, but it sure makes for some dang cute pictures!

4th of July fireworks!!

We went and watched the Thanksgiving Point fireworks tonight. We go and sit on the west side of Thanksgiving Point up on the train tracks. We get a perfect view of them without having to deal with the MAJOR crowds and traffic. Ayden and Jennika both were a little nervous and we had to hold them both the entire time. Jennika would scratch my shoulder when she was nervous, and Ayden just sat there whining the whole time. We also got to see a train go by like 20 feet away from us. It was amazing! We were so close to the tracks that we could feel the ground shaking under our feet. Again Jennika was very scared and Ayden was nervous because it was so loud, but he loved being that close to the train.

These were all taken in Debby and Stan's front yard this last week sometime. The kids were having so much fun. I love the picture of the boys both holding their baby sisters. I can't believe how big my baby is getting either. She pulls herself up to stuff now and she is crawling and everything. It is crazy. In case some of you don't know in these pictures is Tyler's mom Debby, his dad Stan, and this beautiful, beautiful woman in the picture right here on the left is his sister Keri. The other two kids in the pictures are Keri's kids, they are Kayston, who is 4, and Brylee who is almost 4 months. These kids sure love being at Gramma's house.

Ayden's 1st Dentist appointment

Adyen has his first dentist appointment the other day. They gave him a drug called versed to make him loopy so he just wouldn't care what was going on. It made him so drunk. He was falling down all over the place and could not stand up for the life of him. I actually got a video of it but it won't upload to the site for some reason. I will keep trying though. I don't know if you can tell but he is so wacked out on those drugs in these pictures it was hilarious!

Ayden's Preschool Graduation!

Ayden graduated from preschool on May 28th, 2008. I am SO proud of him. He did such an amazing job at school. We went and had a picnic on the floor at his school, then there was a ceremony where they gave out "diplomas" and prizes. He thought he was SO cool in those sunglasses. He was so proud that mommy, daddy, Jennika, and especially grammpa were all there for him on his special day. He had a "girlfriend". Her name is Alexis. I still have to scan in her picture for all of you to see, but she was one cute little girl. He sure knows how to pick them. The teacher said they would walk around holding hands and giving hugs ALL the time. I would love to have seen it. I am sure it was the cutest. He still has two more years of preschool so this time next year we will be posting pictures of another graduation. Well that is all for now. Love you all!

"Day out with Thomas"

So we went and saw Thomas the train on the 23rd, Tyler and Ayden had the time of their lives. Me and Jennika had a pretty good time too. Tyler and Ayden got to go look through and explore all kinds of old train cars. We got to go for a ride on Thomas and have our picture taken with the conductor and then we got our picture taken with him too. The kids weren't too crazy about Thomas blowing his whistle while we were standing there though, they both just about jumped right out of their skin. Ayden would not let go of Tylers leg the whole time we were standing there. We also got to see Sir Topham Hat, Tyler and Ayden got temporary tattoos of Thomas on their cheeks, and Ayden even got a Thomas the Train lantern. He goes to bed with it every night now.

Okay so here is a more recent update. Tyler is still at IFA and loving it. He is now the warehouse manager as well as over the dog food and fencing.
I am still a stay at home mom and loving every minute of it. These kids sure know how to keep me busy!
Ayden will be graduating from pre-school on Wednesday the 28th. He is talking SO much better now, pre-school has been a wonderful, wonderful thing for him. Not only is he talking better but he is getting better at sharing and listening too. He has made some amazing progress in the last few weeks. He loves to play outside and ride bikes. He also LOVES Thomas the Train! We are going to the Heber Valley Railroad this weekend for a Day out with Thomas. He gets to have his picutre taken with Sir Topamhat, and they are gonna have all kinds of fun activities and games for him to play. He is SO excited!
Jennika is now almost eight months old, and getting too big! She is sitting up on her own and she has FOUR teeth now. Last night she pulled herself up for the first time. She was sitting in the tub and I was leaning over the side. She looked up at me, grabbed my shirt and the next thing I knew she was standing up in front of me! It is amazing how fast time flies by and how quickly these babies turn into toddlers! She is such a mommies girl. I love it! She is trying so hard to crawl. She just can't quite figure it out though. She is getting so playful and full of energy. She is such a wonderful baby. We love our beautiful kids so much. I couldn't have asked for a better family.

Hey family! It is Tyler and Michelle! As you all know we have been married for four years this July. We have two beautiful children!
Ayden was born on February 3, 2005. He is now 3 years old. He recently started pre-school at Sego Lily elementary. He is loving it! He gets to ride the bus to school and everything. He is doing great, he is talking pretty good now and loving being a big brother. He is such a big help around the house (when he wants to be). He has recently learned to ride a "big boy" bike (it has training wheels).
Then we have Jennika who is now 6 months old. She is so gorgeous! She is trying to sit up on her now and she is just a little chatter box! She is a wonderful baby! I don't think we could have been blessed with any better of a baby.
Tyler is working down at I.F.A. in Provo and loving it! He is over the dog food and fencing supplies. He was recently ordained an elder in the church and for his first act as an elder he got to bless Jennika into the church. He was so nervous! But he did an amazing job! I am so proud of him!
I am a stay at home mom. I couldn't enjoy my life more! It is really hard work but it is all worth in the end! As you can see by this blog I usually have quite a bit of extra time on my hands (kind of amazing with two kids huh?). Well that is about it for now. Hope to hear from more of you soon!
